Managing Work Relations
People bring their personalities, their strengths and resources to work. They also bring their vulnerability and defensiveness. At times of greater challenge and stress, people are more likely to get defensive, yet this is the very time you need people to be more resourceful.
This presentation offers ideas and options in how to foster collaborative relationships. We will share some brief examples of the dynamics that can be challenging to navigate within a workplace environment. We will also provide opportunity to reflect on these experiences and how to respond in effective ways.
Karen will draw on her knowledge and professional experience to offer insight and practical tips on how to facilitate a supportive culture that minimises reactions and creates opportunity for responding in helpful ways.
