We work with adults across Devon on a 1:1 basis, teaching them to read at a pace and in a setting that works for them. This support is free and confidential.
1 in 14 adults of working age have little or no functional literacy skills. This impacts on every aspect of their lives and leads to limited employment prospects as well as a lack of self confidence and often poor mental health.
Our work, delivered by a wholly voluntary workforce, seeks to address this hidden inequality and transform lives.
