Attain Zero specialises in calculating carbon emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, following the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Scope 1 covers direct emissions from fuels burnt onsite, while Scope 2 accounts for emissions from purchased electricity, heat, and steam. Scope 3, the most comprehensive category, includes emissions from an organisation’s entire value chain — such as employee commuting and the production of goods and services procured by the business.
